I don't have insurance for myself and my son has MA (teffra)., that covers these same services. Knowing how well IEIBT is working for him, it just breaks my heart to see these insurance companies take the money, but deny coverage. THis is the therapy that was recommended by his doctors. Shouldn't that count for something? What has changed for them to decided to deny coverage of these services all of a sudden after years of covering it? We need to fight back. Many employers in Minnesota have BCBS for health insurance. I'm in the process of finding a new job with insurance, and was counting on having these services still provided!

I just lost my PCA hours, my TEFRA parental fee was $647/mo which I canceled and my company's insurance doesn't cover autism services. How can I get any of the information that was presented on Sept 28? I will be watching Part Two.

Thank you,

Scott - our legal services are limited to Minnesota at this time, but the content of the first part of the Webinar series does include information about private insurance appeals and medicaid appeals. Folks from outside of Minnesota may benefit from participating in the first 20-30 minutes of the first part of the series and are more than welcome to participate.

Thanks!

Hi….

I am an autism advocate and the founder of the Chattanooga Autism Meetup Group – based in Chattanooga, TN. CAM Group is essentially a clearinghouse of information for the autism community in the Chattanooga area. I post events which may be of interest to people.

Is the Autism Advocacy & Law Center LLC a local, statewide, or national organization? I am curious because I got the impression while you are based in the Twin Cities area that you reach out to a national audience.

I saw this webinar on your group’s website…
LEARN HOW TO MEET YOUR CHILD’S NEEDS
Two Part Series: Join us at 5 p.m. on Sept. 28th and October 12th.

Please let me if the material is exclusive to Minnesota disability law or not.

Thanks for reading and responding to this…

Amy,

Thank you so much for all the hard work you've been doing for our kids & families. Even if the battle isn't won this year, your efforts have gone a long way to giving us hope that we're getting closer to ending insurance discrimination against kids with autism. We all appreciate you very much!
